Entering the Boise State University EDTECH Masters program in Summer of 2009, I never expected that I would have such a great experience.  This portfolio highlights my learning experience in the EDTECH program.  With a focus of integrating technology into the classroom, I have been enhancing my high school English curriculum with many Web 2.0 tools, such as Google, YouTube, and many other resources. The benefits from utilizing technology in the classroom are endless! By clicking the above links, you will find my artifacts linked to the AECT Standards, Rationale Paper, and Reflection Video.

About Me
I grew up in beautiful Central Oregon, and moved to the "Rose City", Portland, Oregon to attend Concordia University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and an endorsement in Language Arts.  At Concordia, I played all four years of my college career on the Lady Cavaliers Golf team.  After college, I moved to Southern Oregon to teach at Mazama High School.  Currently, I teach Honors English 10, English 10, and supervise the production of the school's yearbook.  Technology is a tool that I use daily in my classroom.  In my free time, I enjoy playing golf, traveling, reading, watching movies, and listening to music.
